Dave
Morrison.
Dave Morrison is like a carpenter missing fingers – do you worry about
his ability or applaud his devotion? Morrison’s poems have been featured in
literary magazines and anthologies, and read on Writer’s Almanac. Clubland (2011
Fighting Cock Press), a collection of poems about rock bars written in verse is
his seventh book. A new collection, fail, was launched in the fall of 2012.
Jacob Fricke
Jacob Fricke has been performing
poetry in various connections for over ten years, including on radio and
television, on the web, in schools and at rock concerts, at fairs, up on the
stage, and out in the streets. He frequently performs backed by Tom Luther’s
jazz ensembles, including Agharta and
Algorithm. He has twice been a featured poet at the
Belfast Poetry Festival, in 2008 and in 2010. At Mr. Paperback in Belfast, he
had an active hand in the annual Waldo County Young Poet Laureate Contest, and
he also runs and emcees Belfast’s Poetry Slams. He is the author of This Book of Poems You Found from The
